Sofia Bertoldi, associate
Sofia pursued her professional career in architecture and acquired specific experience in rendering and graphics for architecture and industrial design. She graduated in Architecture from IUAV University of Venice in 2009. Sofia joined +39 Architects in 2011.
Renzo Boatelli, associate
Renzo graduated in architecture from IUAV University of Venice in 2004. Since 2005 he has been dealing with architectural design, has acquired experience in restructuring and redevelopment of buildings, paying special attention to interior design. Renzo joined +39 Architects in 2014.
Andrea Bozza, associate
Andrea has extensive experience in the retail sector on building and interior design, working mainly in the UAE. He constantly researches on new architectural technologies, on sustainable architecture as well as on more specific aspects of the construction and building process. Since 2010 he is an active member of the Association of Architects of Vicenza and among other things, he contributed to its new website. He graduated from IUAV University of Architecture of Venice in 1999.
Gianpaolo Forese, board member
Gianpaolo, partner and co-founder of +39 Architects, is an architect with approximately 20 years of experience in all aspects of urban planning and architecture, including master planning and mixed-use regeneration schemes. He developed a solid experience in integrated design mainly regarding environmental sustainability of construction processes, from the research of raw materials to the analysis of bioclimatic buildings in relation to the sites (Life Cycle Thinking). He graduated from IUAV University of Architecture of Venice in 1994.
Nicoletta Grismondi, associate
Nicoletta is an architect specialised in interior design and decoration. She acquired specific experience in the economic evaluation of cultural heritage through her career. She graduated in Architecture from IUAV University of Venice, in 1995. Nicoletta joined +39 Architects in 2011.
Roberta Lando, associate
Roberta is an architect who deals with architectural design and acquired significant experience in urban planning, paying a special attention to urban restoration programs. She is registered with the Association of Architects since 2000. Roberta joined +39 Architects in 2011.
Vittorio Longheu, associate director
Vittorio graduated in architecture from IUAV University of Venice in 1988. He began his professional career in 1989 approaching, over the years, the design of many themes: multi-purpose buildings, commercial and office, hotel and tourist complexes, different housing types and public spaces. He participated in several conferences in Italy and abroad, and exhibitions including the Venice Biennale, in 2006, "Workshop Italy. 200 Italian architects-50 foreign architects", in Rome, 2006," Young Italian Architecture, in 2001 in Busan, Korea. He won the "City of Oderzo Architecture" award in 1998 and 2005, the "National Architecture Award Luigi Cosenza", in 1998 and the "DesignPlus" award in Frankfurt in 2010. His works are published in major national and international journals. Vittorio joined +39 Architects in 2011.
Chiara Malfitano, associate
Chiara researched and deepened her knowledge on the conception of space in an urban scale. She took part in international workshops organised by the French Ministry of Transport such as 'Shanghai Urban Planning Administration Bureau' (China), Ecole Nationale Superieure de Genie-Civil de Hanoi (Vietnam), IAURIF (Paris), Aftrp (Paris), Ministeres beninois des travaus publics et transports (Benin). She cooperated with the 'Venetian Studies', dealing with design and restoration in the architectural field, with particular attention to environmental sustainability. In 2009 she joined 'CasaClima' Junior Expert. Occasionally she is a lecturer at the University of Cottbus (BTU), at the WIT in Boston and at the IUAV University in Venice. She graduated from IUAV University of Architecture of Venice in 2000.
Giovanna Mar, associate director
Giovanna is an architect and devotes special attention to the application of sustainable technologies and materials in her design planning and, vice versa, to the use of architectural design in technological systems. She is Board Director and Technical Manager at 'Studio Architetti Mar', that boasts more than 50 years experience in design and project management. She also collaborates with IUAV University of Architecture in Venice as a contract professor and assistant professor for Sustainability and Architecture Technology courses. She was also part of the work group 'La casa dell'Architettura' in Venice: a workshop aiming towards the dissemination and promotion of high quality architectural culture. She graduated from IUAV University of Venice in 1995.
Roberto Meneghetti, associate director
Roberto is an architect and his activity is specifically addressed towards the design of betting shops. He graduated from IUAV University of Architecture of Venice in 1995. Roberto joined +39 Architects in 2012.
Gloria Negri, associate director
Gloria is an Italian-French architect with almost 25 years of experience. She graduated from IUAV University of Venice in 1986 and worked on her thesis with Professor Vittorio Gregotti. She designed, restored and built both public and private buildings and squares and dealt with wood buildings in several of her design projects. She participated and won several design competitions.
Eleonora Salvalaio, associate
Eleonora graduated in architecture from Iuav, University of Architecture of Venice in 2012. Actually she's assistant at the International Academic Journal newsroom, an international scientific/academic magazine in electronic and network format. This magazine shoots for a reunion between researchers and lovers for the media city and for new technologies for the architecture and the city. She also collaborates with IUAV, University of Architecture of Venice, as tutor and teaching assistant for the Building System course with the Professor Alessandro Premier and for the Architecture Technologies course with the Professors Pietro Zennaro and Katia Gasparini. Eleonora joined +39 Architects in 2013.
Michele Schiavo, board member
Michele, partner and co-founder of +39 Architects, is a Civil Engineer whom developed a significant experience in the planning aspects of the civil, industrial and tertiary sectors. He is an expert of integrated and integral planning. He graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Padua in 1994.
Thomas Selmin, associate
Thomas graduated from IUAV University of Architecture of Venice in 1998. He collaborated with an architectural company in Berlin in the infrastructural and road network fields on a project for underground stations. Thomas graduated from IUAV University of Architecture of Venice in 1998. Marco Tomasin, associate
Marco has a degree in architecture at the IUAV University of Venice in 2006. He started his professional career in 1999 as a junior engineer, approaching, over the years, the design of many themes: Design, Design for All and interior designers, multi-purpose buildings, sports, shopping and offices, hotels and tourist complexes, wellness, different types of housing, social housing and public spaces, deisgn and urban planning, real estate developer. He has participated in numerous conferences in Italy and abroad, has participated and won prizes and mentions to contests for housing high-level and multi-purpose exhibition and commercial structures.
