Le Meridien hotel was the first resort on the coral reef in Bora Bora. The renewal of the almost dying "hoa" (sort of small cave in the barrier reef) was accurately studied to give place to one of the most well known turtles care centre in French Polynesia. Recently renovated, this hotel is still considered an example of cultural and landscape integration.
